SEIKO DANCE COMPANY + GRANHØJ DANS
La CALASH La Latin-LT
In the piece two contrasting worlds – DanseSport and contemporary dance – meet. Awkward, humorous, and even absurd situations are born as these genres encounter.
DanceSport cannot be imagined without strictly male-female couples and synchronized team movement while contemporary dance allows more freedom for individual expression and gender roles. Like mirrors to each other they highlight the essential – our need for another and for individuality, for belonging and for freedom.
GRANHØJ DANS
An Eve and an Adam
A performance that literally puts the real nudity on stage . . . as a contrast to the virtual ! Pornography in all its forms is readily available and widely consumes. Apparently modesty no longer exists when it comes to the naked body in virtual culture. We need to rethink our relationship to the body is natural nudity and discuss our forms of representation of the body is nudity in the media culture.
GRANHØJ DANS
Stone facebook
A performance about a man and his connection to rocks. This is a solo dance performance with the award-winning dancer Mikolaj Karczewski. Granhøj Dans is known for their so-called obstruction method in the process of creating new performances – in this case, rocks are the premise. Rocks in all sizes, forms, and weights. Mikolaj breathes life into the rocks through peculiar animations, and it may seem that they get their own personality.
ASTERIONS HUS
Moon
What if you could land on the moon with a sailing ship and sail from the Sea of Silence to the Sea of the edge? How would the moon dust change you on the journey?
In MOON, dancer and actor Tilde Knudsen and musician and singer Klaus Risager come together on stage in a weightless cabaret about longing, desire and changeability. A song cycle in ten stages directed by Peter Kirk.
With the performance MOON, Theater Asterions Hus howls at the full moon and explores the dark sides of man.
ASTERIONS HUS
Alice in Wonderland
A tribute to unreason, fantasy and anarchy.
A non-verbal artistic collaboration between Danish dancer and performer Tilde Knudsen and British costume designer Susan Marshall.
“I knew who I was this morning, but I’ve changed a few times since then.” - Alice

ASTERIONS HUS
Macbeth
Power. Lust. Enthusiasm. Humor. Guilt... The well-known Shakespeare story about the passionate couple, who become murderers and afterwards are eaten up by guilt and bad con-science.
Despite the fact, that the performance is based upon the classic Macbethian issues, Asterion’s Hus’ production is far from being conventional. The audience will experience the story being torn to pieces and restored in an a playful, sensuous and experimental space.
LARUTAN
Out of the Blue I & II
As soon as I am me, I’m also you; If I am you and you are he, I am also he.
Out of the Blue I & II are two similar choreographies where the only variable is the costume of the performers. The dansers are in complete synch with each other, accentuating the similarities. He is her, she is him. The schizophrenic personalities of the two dansers, the synchronicity of the dance, the variation of the costumes: Out of the Blue is like watching two identical twins dedouble. A very dissociative experience!
ZWERMERS
Catwalk
From worn out denim jacket to extravagant glitter dress. Our clothes are an expression of who we are, want to be, and sometimes have to be. What does that ‘second skin’ tell about us?
DON GNU
Two men and a plank
An outdoor pop-up performance filled with raw physicality, crooked stunts and highlevel slap-stick-comedy!
ANDREA SALUSTRI
Materia
MATERIA explores the possibilities of one material, polystyrene, to the point it becomes alive and protagonist of the events on stage. The role of the performer shifts towards the one of the facilitator, and the focus is constantly negotiated between object, manipulator and manipulation.
MARTA WOLOWIEC
Tens
The performance explores the concept of the body as the energy generator. The artist seeks organicity resulting from the flow of physical sensations, vibrations, following the voice of intuition. She gives herself time to develop, she also gives the audience time to tune their own bodies with the performer’s. This piece is sbout tension, attentiveness and calmness, as well as the strength that can always be found by standing firmly on one’s feet and breathe in and out deeply.
COMPANY CHAMELEON
Void
A male and female duet, Void invites you to pause and reflect on the pandemic. With varying energy and pace, and a rainbow of different dan-ce styles and influences, Void showcases Chameleon’s unique and athletic dance style, and takes you on a journey exploring an extraordinary space in time.
