Butterfly Kisses is a visual and sensory performance in which art, nature, and human lives are intricately woven together.

Inspired by the Large Blue butterfly (Phengaris arion)—a rare butterfly found in Denmark only on the island of Møn—we journey through a series of short, poetic portraits of women from different times and places around the world.

Women who all followed a powerful inner drive: scientific curiosity, artistic vision, and lifelong obsession.

From the naturalist Maria Sibylla Merian to artists such as Frida Kahlo and Loïe Fuller, we encounter people who left their mark on the world—as well as those who have quietly faded into obscurity.
