Life is not black and white is a physical and sensual performance, where white objects and symbols appear on a pitch-black background, creating a visual world inspired by the poetry and clarity of silent films.
The performance plays with transformations and the ambiguous: the elegant and the grotesque, the beautiful and the disturbing. With a scenic language that speaks to the eye before the ear, we delve into the darkness to find the nuances – and that which cannot be immediately explained.
An experience for the curious person – both children and adults.
A performance about growing up, discovering the world, letting yourself be seduced and going to surprising places.

And the performance Life is not black and white blends in nicely with their clear style and aesthetics. It is raw poetry in stylized stage images. Tilde Knudsen juggles impressive physicality, comic timing, scenic presence and storytelling.
