The yoga room or party room is the former auditorium of the central school. Many school parties, school comedies and private parties have been held here. It was the dining room when the place was a refugee center in the 90s. At one end of the room there used to be a permanent stage. When Tilde and Peter came in 2019, this entire building was quite neglected and the previous owners wanted to demolish the building. The old drain in the slightly higher football field at Magleby Stadium had collapsed in several places and this caused water to stand in the party room during the wet seasons. So you could smell the dampness in this house and especially in the party room!

 

A small stream was made through the entire old football field and a new drain was made by the lawn outside the party hall, so now the water should no longer run into the hall. And both the dampness and the smell are gone! New windows have been installed and now a couple of windows to the south. We have laid a resilient wooden floor and now the hall can again be used for all kinds of purposes. Because of the new floor, we are hesitant to call it the party hall, but with vinyl on the floor it will probably work. Three double doors in the large glass sections open onto a small lawn that is connected to the rest of the garden.

The yoga room is wonderful for theater, singing, dance rehearsals, yoga, training, etc. As the name suggests, it can also be used as a party room and will be the obvious heart of gatherings when there are a large number of overnight guests at Teater Møn.
